Anzac Day services 2017

The Australian and New Zealand Consuls-General in NYC will co-host a Dawn Service and a Sunday Service this year.

Western Australia state election - Saturday 11 March

If you are overseas and would like to vote, you can do so by postal vote or in-person. In-person voting commences on 20 February and concludes on 10 March. The standard opening hours of the Australian Consulate-General apply during this period, with the exception of Friday 10 March, when we will remain open until 6pm local time.

Smartraveller - updated travel advice

Smartraveller has released updated advice for Australians travelling to the United States.  Australian passport holders (regardless of country of birth, nationality or whether they hold another passport) are not affected by the US Executive Order on Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States.

Holiday closures

The Consulate will be closed for the holidays from midday on Friday 23 December and on Monday 26, Tuesday 27 and Friday 30 December. Regular hours will apply on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 December.
